EVERLASTING STARS (6) hasn't raced since filling a minor placing at this track over 5f six weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Top contender and can take this out. OUTWITTED (1) returns from a lay-off of five months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Geelong over 6f38yards when when resuming last time in work. Solid chance when resuming for the new barn. DEAR PRUDENCE (10) recorded an all-the-way win last time out by a head over this journey at this track. Must be included. ISLAND TIDE (8) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6f at Doomben. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Definite top-three chance.
