DUE DILIGENCE (3) fought on for third last start over 7f at this track when he produced a huge finish, making it three minor placings in a row. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. CHANGE THE DEEL (7) drifted well back when resuming last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. NEGATION (10) gets out over more ground. On the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a fifth over 5f at ballina. Meets a tougher line-up this time but should be involved in the finish. STORM FORCE TEN (9) registered his first win when resuming last start over 5½f at Ipswich, getting home by a neck. Cody Collis was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
