Awkward draw to contend with but should be in the finish again. CASABLANCA (8) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and is having his outing under new trainer Stuart Kendrick. Finished fourth at Goulburn over 6½f at the opening run last time in work. Placed in a recent trial. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. INSPIRATIONAL DIVA (11) is a first-starter by Mendelssohn out of Diva Regina. Fitter for a recent trial. A bold showing is on the cards. IRIDESCENCE (12) is on debut. By Defcon and comes from the Robert Heathcote stable. Comes here off a Doomben trial placing. Top-three chance.
