EUPHRATES DREAM (2) finished fourth over 5½f at Doomben when resuming last start, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GALACTIC LEGEND (3) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 5½f at Doomben, scoring by a nose. Big chance to go back-to-back. MORITZ GIRL (6) is a progressive three-year-old filly who hasn't raced since finishing third over 1m at Goulburn on November 5. Fitter for two trials, most recently at Doomben. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but has winning claims. BEAUTY BOUND (13) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can run a bold race.
