ORLABENT (1) ran below expectations last time after being prominent on the bend at Eagle Farm, finishing tenth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 3/1. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. HEARTONI (3) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths over this journey at Sunshine Coast Poly. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins and a placing. Definite winning hope. ON HOLD (10) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5½f at Doomben after being prominent at the bend. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. EUPHRATES DREAM (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Doomben, finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 5½f. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
