FIELD OF FLUTES (1) started at 15/2 last time on the back of a win at Ballarat Synthetic two starts ago but was below his best, finishing fifth over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Has the class to take this out. LAA DE SHA (4) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 6f at Geelong, scoring by half a length. Will be better for that latest run and looks a big threat to the top selection. SHE'S TERNACIOUS (9) defied a lack of market support last start, scoring by a head over 6f at Terang. Tom Madden who has scored on her four times retains the mount. Certainly one to consider. MASTERFUL (2) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 7f at Caulfield seven months ago. Settles back early but winds up late. Deserves respect on best figures.
