GAS BRIGADE (3) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 6f122yards at Echuca. Can open winning account this time. ANCHOR DOWN (1) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the turn, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7f at Echuca. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. KING CZAR (4) has not raced since his debut on May 9 over 6f at Pakenham when he finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply. ZOUSLAYER (8) faced the starter for the first time and finished sixth last start at Sandown-Lakeside over 6½f, beaten 9 lengths.
