ARTISTIC DANCER (11) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at Albury with a win over 6½f at Wodonga three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SHAL EXCEED (8) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 7f at Geelong, an improvement on his eighth at Sale the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. PARTY AT ARTIE'S (2) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time before finding the line strongly to score by 0.8 lengths over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic. Watch for him running on late again. ENAMOUR (13) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 17 when beaten 7 lengths into 11th at Warracknabeal over 6f. In the right race and should be thereabouts.
