MY BOY NICK (2) comes here off a break of three months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Benalla. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. UPPER EAST SIDE (3) took advantage of the good draw last start and was in the firing line for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing tenth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at Mildura. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. DEBIT CREDIT (4) kept coming only to just miss last start over 5f at this track. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. QUBELLA (6) strode forward early from her wide draw over 7f at Bendigo last time before fading to finish tenth. Strong record with Laura Lafferty in the irons, including a win. Don't underestimate.
