MIGHTY ULYSSES (2) finished 6 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7f at Flemington three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Well placed so expecting a strong run. RUNNING BY (10) showed good early pace over 1m at Flemington last time and kept going to score by 1.75 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. IT'S A WILD NIGHT (9) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6½f at Tauranga, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. UNCLE BRYN (3) was well held last time in town, finishing tenth over 1m in the LR Chester Manifold Stakes at Flemington. Can sneak into the finish on best form.
