MARBLE ARCH (8) did her best work late and finished 0.7 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7f at Flemington, an improvement on her eighth at Caulfield the run before. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BRAZEN LADY (4) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing seventh in the G3 How Now Stakes at Caulfield and beaten 2.75 lengths. Will find this easier. Well placed and sure to run well. WAIMARIE (5) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m at Flemington. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Tackling a more suitable race so she is a major player. Damian Lane gets the best out of this four-year-old mare. Finds a nice race and can secure another top-three finish.
