BARAQIEL (2) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when sixth over 6f in the G1 Champions Sprint at Flemington. Ben Allen who has six wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. OSCAR'S FORTUNE (3) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage sixth over 5f in the LR Century Stakes at Flemington. Among the leading chances. ARKANSAW KID (1) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing tenth in the G3 Sydney Stakes at Randwick. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the main contenders. SPACEWALK (4) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in second over 5f at Flemington. Nice class drop this time. Well placed and not to be discounted.
