THE GENIUS (3) finished 4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m2 1/4f at Moonee Valley after being in the firing line on the corner eight days ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will find this easier. Should measure up. DUKE OF HASTINGS (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 1m4f at Mornington. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
