NUTS 'N' BOLTS (3) is back from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Ballarat. Looks set to run well. CAP TEN (6) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Moe but couldn't back it up last start when tenth, beaten 9 lengths, over 6f at Mornington after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MAXIMUM POWER (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 6f at Cranbourne after he was in contention on the turn. Cherry-ripe now and is capable of sharp improvement. IRRESISTIBLE SIR (7) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 6f at Horsham. Joe Bowditch has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Not to be discounted.
