BIG KATE (1) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 7f at Geelong, beaten 5.5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CRYSTANADO (2) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 6f at Sale. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. OLLY'S FORTUNE (9) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the turn at Stawell, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 15/2. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ALABAMA GIRL (10) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1m1/2f at Geelong, beaten 8 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
