GELLHORN (4) has filled a minor placing on two occasions in four starts. Failed to add to the tally last time out when fourth over 7f in the LR Twilight Glow Stakes at Caulfield. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from three starts. Will find this easier than last start. Should be in the finish. MISS CASTELVECCHIO (8) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing second and beaten a neck over 5½f at Stony Creek. Can open winning account this time. CRYPTIC GEM (2) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight before tiring to finish sixth and beaten 2 lengths over 5½f at Stony Creek. Likely improver who is among the better chances. MOLLY THE MAGICIAN (9) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Mornington over 6f, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter and the blinkers come off. Expected to run well.
