FLUFFY'S GIRL (8) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f at Mornington. Likely improver. LONGCROSS (11) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished ninth over 5½f at Stony Creek, beaten 12 lengths. Must respect recent market confidence so give him another chance. MISS LIL (6) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 2.75 lengths when fourth over 5½f at Stony Creek. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. BOUDICA WARRIOR (4) showed good speed and fought on for second over 4½f at Corowa last time. Tackling tougher opposition but is among the better hopes.
