LE PARRAIN (7) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Ciaron Maher yard and gelded since last run. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Warwick Farm five-and-a-half months ago. Placed in a recent trial and won on debut to launch last prep. Should prove tough to beat.
