Group 1 placegetter PIER PRESSURE (11) is a talented filly who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 5.5 lengths behind Bases Loaded over 1m in the G3 Gunsynd Classic at Eagle Farm. Should be poised just off the lead. Expecting a bold showing. FERNAO (3) drifted well back when resuming last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 4 lengths, over 7¾f at Canterbury. Will be tough to hold out again. Group 3 placegetter ZAPHOD (8) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Kris Lees barn and gelded since last run. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings in the G3 Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown eight months ago. Ran fourth in a trial over 6f at Scone and scored on debut to kick off the maiden campaign. Leading prospect. IRISH BLISS (7) finished second last start over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race.
