FIRE ISLAND (4) got a long way back when 13 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7½f at Hawkesbury last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth on debut at Warwick Farm the run before. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. VIVEZZA (1) is a consistent performer with three minor placings from three starts this campaign. Produced another good effort at her most recent run when second over 7¾f at Canterbury after she was well back on straightening. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. LOST ILLUSIONS (7) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook. Will drift back but wind up late. One to consider. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
