ZEALOUSLY (1) is still a maiden after three runs. Was one of the favoured runners last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fifth over 5½f at Warwick Farm. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. PUERTO BANUS (8) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.2 lengths of the winner in third last start over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the leading chances. THEBES (10) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 6f at Wyong on June 13. Not to be discounted. DANZAGRUNT (9) was fair on debut last time out when seventh over 4½f at Newcastle. Should appreciate the extra ground. Can improve and should run well.
