HOLLYWOOD ACE (3) held on well to finish second last time out over 6f at Seymour after leading for much of the way. Sure to go well. PORTER (1) registered a strong win at Seymour two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when third over 7f at Werribee, beaten 2.75 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. POWERFUL TORQUE (6) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Likely to be there at the finish again. LOCHLORIAN (5) was far from disgraced when sixth last start over 7f at Cranbourne. That followed a win at Bendigo the start prior. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
