MAYCOMB (13) has not raced since she drifted back on debut five-and-a-half months ago then wound up nicely to finish second over 6f at Cranbourne. Will be better for that race experience and should prove tough to beat again. GRINZINGER HALO (10) was beaten just a neck last start and landed her first top-three finish in the process at Mornington over 7½f. Heading in the right direction and expected to be in the finish again. SEPALS (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Yarra Valley. Has ability and must be respected. HISAKO LADY (11) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Mornington, beaten 5 lengths into sixth. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question.
