CAVALLA VELOCE (14) will find this a little easier than her third on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 1.3 lengths at the end of 5½f at this track. Has plenty of upside so she should pay to follow. DUTY CALLS (16) battled on well to hold third last start over 5f at Cranbourne, beaten 1.2 lengths when resuming. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot take this out. ELITE PETE (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Stony Creek, beaten 2 lengths into fifth. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. GRASSBURN (9) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Solid top-three hope.
