MARY ELIZA (10) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6½f at Seymour, finishing third and beaten 2.25 lengths. Big chance based on that effort. OUR EMMBAR (4) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 6¼f at Geelong, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. BRAZEN FLING (5) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth in a 7f22yards contest at Geelong a month ago after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to get the prize. MATRON SAMSING (11) ran a better race last time at her second career start when fifth over 7f at Sale. Open to further improvement.
