ORTIGIAN GIRL (7) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 5f at Cranbourne in a tougher race. Jumps from a wide draw but a big run is anticipated. Set Weights EET AS A KISS (10) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at this track. Big chance based on that effort. BROADBEACH MISS (2) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing a nose from the winner in second over 6f at Seymour. Expected to feature with improvement to come. CLUX STAR (3) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Seymour, finishing fifth and beaten 2 lengths over 6f. Worth another chance.
