SIGIRIYA ROCK (5) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 7f at Sale in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish again. ALIGNING STARS (4) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 7f at Ballarat on debut. Solid prospects. SCOTTIE'S LEGACY (9) worked home well and finished second last time over 7f75yards at Kyneton when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.5 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. SPELLMASTER (3) was in the money two starts back at Cranbourne but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 10 lengths, at Kilmore over 1m2f. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
