SOHO PRINCESS (12) is still a maiden after nine starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Mornington two starts back before finishing tenth over 7½f at Mornington last time. This looks her chance to break through. ECHUCA MOAMA (13) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 6f at Mornington. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. TARTAN BELLE (14) was close to a maiden win before a five-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a placing over 6f at Mornington. Drawn well close to the inside. Nicely placed and can kick this campaign off on a bright note. CAVILL TYCOON (1) finished second last start over 5½f at Benalla, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should be cherry-ripe. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
