BANCOORA (1) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 0.6 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5½f at Horsham. Big chance based on that effort. PROVEN SOUL (11) is on a eight-day back-up after finishing in the money over 5½f at Benalla. Strong run last time and should be in the finish. DUKE OF SNITZ (2) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of 11 months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Yarra Valley. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. LADY DUTTON (10) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Yarra Valley, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
