MANA COMBAT (6) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 1m4f at Mornington. Racing well without winning and gets his chance to break through. STAND UP FOR ME (3) turned in a sound effort last time when third over 2m4f at Ararat. Back in trip this time. Good effort last start and will be hard to beat. STAR OF TAVISTOCK (1) finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m3f at Hamilton after being in the firing line on the corner a week-and-a-half ago as 3/1 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Should park just off the speed. Will give backers a great sight. DANDRUFF (2) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 2m at Echuca, beaten 10 lengths. Worth another chance.
