Hard to beat in this suitable race. TIGHT GRIP (14) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at Mornington. Likely improver with strong prospects. AMERICAN RUSS (1) is a 30-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at his latest appearance over 6½f at Swan Hill. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. SHE MOGUL (10) debuted two weeks ago when she finished sixth over 6f at Mornington, beaten 5 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under her belt.
