TOO MUCH MAKEUP (15) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f at Doomben. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. SHAPIN POWER (12) settled towards the back of the field last start and made little impact in the straight when tenth, beaten 10 lengths, over this journey at Doomben. Has the class to figure prominently. NEW YORK GAL (6) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing third last time over 6f at Warwick. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. LONDON POINT (2) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 5½f at Gatton. Should be winding up late again.
