LEMPICKA (3) finished 4 lengths behind the winner in 14th place when resuming over 5½f last start in the G1 Oakleigh Plate at this track. Has a decent second up record. Can return to winning form. Group 3 winner SEMILLION (5) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance in the LR Doveton Stakes (Cleary Stakes) at this track over 6f three-and-a-half months ago. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. VIVIANE (4) turned in a fair run when returning from a break last start over 5½f in the G2 Rubiton Stakes at this track, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in eighth. Record here is sound including three wins from eight starts. Takes on much easier opposition this time. Capable of taking this out. Group 1 placegetter GENERAL BEAU (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on November 18 finishing 12th and beaten 6 lengths over 7f in the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at this track. Can make his presence felt.
