Has good credentials over this longer trip and is expected to feature in the finish. Group 1 winner GEAR UP (4) performed above expectations when resuming last time over 1m2f at this track, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in third after starting at huge odds. Should feature again. Group 3 placegetter MANKAYAN (5) is going well with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1m2f at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration.
