Real Madrid could welcome back Aurelien Tchouameni by the end of the week

Aurelien Tchouameni

In a positive development for Real Madrid, injured midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is poised to make a comeback to team training by the end of the week.

The news is according to reports from DAZN's Sergio Quirante.

Should the recovery progress as expected, there is a possibility that the French international might resume training even earlier, possibly making a return to the team by the upcoming weekend or early next week, as indicated in the report.

Aurelien Tchouameni, who experienced a dip in prominence during the latter part of the previous season, commenced the current campaign with a strong performance.

Becoming a pivotal figure in Carlo Ancelotti's four-man diamond midfield setup at Real Madrid, Tchouameni's impressive form was disrupted by an unfortunate foot fracture suffered during the first El Clasico of the season over a month ago.

Initially ruled out for over two months, the prognosis seemed to cast doubt on Tchouameni's return before the year's end.

However, the latest reports suggest that his recovery has progressed positively, raising hopes for an earlier-than-expected return to action for the talented midfielder.
