Harry Kane has reiterated the importance of playing in the Champions League as Tottenham boosted their chances with a 5-0 win over Everton on Monday night.
Kane scored bagged a brace against Everton and now has five goals in his last four Premier League games.
If Tottenham could qualify for the Champions League, and they can keep Antonio Conte happy, then they might also be able to keep their star striker content.
His two goals against Everton moved him above Thierry Henry in the all-time list of Premier League goalscorers with 176 and they have since been compared. Kane is also likely to overtake Frank Lampard who has scored one more goal than him and he could also move ahead of Sergio Aguero - who is the fourth highest scorer.
Top performance tonight. Standards we know we’re capable of reaching. Gotta go on a run now. 💪 pic.twitter.com/58EM28OmEZ
