CINQUE TERRE (7) ran on strongly only to just miss as favourite last start over 7½f at Innisfail. Should be near her peak for this. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is good enough to play a major role. TURBEAU (1) continues to race well with a win in a at this track before finishing 2 lengths away in second last time over 7½f at Innisfail. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to stop. TAVISTEEL (5) was on the speed from the rails draw last start and battled on well to finish second over 1m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. MEDAL (3) found plenty to score by 6 lengths three runs back at Bowen before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Pietro Romeo who has three wins when partnering stays on. Can play a role in the finish.
