LADY DAMUS (19) doesn't win out of turn but left a good impression last time out when beaten a neck into second over 4¾f at Cairns. Can break through. CATALINA DREAMING (6) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 7/2. This is a nice drop in grade so she is likely to play a big role. SMART THINKER (15) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 5f at Home Hill. Should be prominent from the low draw. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. IMPERIUM (5) caught the eye last start over 4¾f at Cairns, coming from the tail and running on strongly to score by a long neck. Denicious Smith stays aboard. Among the top-three hopes.
