SIMPLE WAY (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. BOLD TONTO (1) filled a placing last time over 5f32yards at Chinchilla and has been given a short break. Kept ticking over with a trial win since at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Well placed and is among the main chances. HEEZA HUBSESSION (5) is a locally trained maiden galloper who finished in the placings over 5f at Home Hill before going for a break five months ago. Filled a minor placing in a recent Townsville trial. Should be competitive. KAI COME (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.4 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at this track. Finds a nice race and can play a big role again.
