BEAUTY BOOM (2) looks close to a win, the latest effort a strong second, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 5f at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. Will give a great sight. DEVIL'S INN (5) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Graham Hughes yard. Finished off last campaign with a win at Newcastle 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Leading prospect. NORTHERN PRIDE (4) comes here off a break of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Eagle Farm. Worth plenty of thought.
