NERANO (4) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Paul Wallace stable. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Newcastle eight months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should prove tough to beat. DUN WITH ROSES (3) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 5f, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should be at his peak now. No excuses from this draw in the mix. ZIMBARA (11) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish ninth at her latest appearance over 6f at Kilcoy. Worth including in this suitable contest. FIRST TO MARS (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is still a maiden after 11 starts but has been in the placings three times. Failed to threaten when 10 lengths from the winner in 11th when resuming last start over 6f at Doomben. Blinkers come off second up. Fitter and sure to be competitive.
