BEAU WITNESS (3) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 5½f at Gatton. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the winning hopes again. DRANG A TANG (7) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at this track last start, finishing one length ahead of the nearest rival. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
