MAYA BAY (3) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a neck over 5½f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and will be a tough nut to crack again. DOLLOP (1) showed early speed from a good draw last time but was swamped late and finished seventh, beaten 5 lengths, over 5½f at Ipswich. Likely improver. NICCI DE ROSA (10) was second up last start and went close, beaten a long neck into third at this track over 4f76yards. Form at this track is solid. Fitter and can play a role in the finish. LAST CHANCE SALOON (6) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Ipswich. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
