CAPE CRUSADER (6) started favourite last time out over 1m at this track but found a couple better, making it three minor placings from three starts this campaign. Racing well without winning and gets his chance to break through. DEL CAMPO (5) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1m1f at Goondiwindi. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. ANYWAY YOU WANT IT (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 1.2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TOP BOY (1) finished second last time over 1m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
