YOTOTSU (5) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m at Scone. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MY MATE KATE (3) was thereabouts last time out when fifth over 6f at Rosehill. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Among the winning hopes. ARTIC PANTHER (9) got off the mark over 6½f at Armidale last start, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Shannen Llewellyn was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. BIT OF A STEP (10) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7¼f at Muswellbrook after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
