TAIPAN LEGEND (1) again failed to feature last start, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths over 5f at Scone. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will prove tough to beat. KICKOFF (12) is a eight-start maiden who could only manage to finish seventh at her latest appearance over 6f at Wyong after she gave away a big start. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. CHURCH ROCK (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 5f at Grafton when returning from a lay-off. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to stop. FAST BLUE (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in seventh over 6f at Kembla Grange. Better than recent efforts suggest.
