HOPE UNO (4) is backing up seven days after finishing second over 1m1/4f at Moruya. Strong run last time and will be hard to beat. DAMASCUS GATE (6) got a long way back when 11 lengths from the winner in tenth over 7f at Taree last start, a less impressive effort than his ninth at Muswellbrook the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. APPLE CIDER (8) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1m at Narromine. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
