MY GEM (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m3f at Dubbo, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to take this out. RUBILAND (6) was thereabouts last time out when second at Dubbo over 1m3f, beaten 0.9 lengths. The testing material. THE GREAT ARMADA (8) improved sharply on his tenth two starts back at Moree with success as favourite over 1m at Narromine a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. NATURE BOY (3) improved last start to finish third over 1m2 1/2f at this track. Worth noting Cassey Williams goes aboard. Well placed to run top-three again.
