INVADER'S GIRL (10) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished a long neck away in fourth last time out over 6½f at Scone. Nicely placed to get the prize. STARPOPPY (13) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish sixth over 1m at Moree. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. YARRAVILLE (18) was in the money two starts back at Taree but couldn't back it up last time when tenth, beaten 12 lengths, at Taree over 6f67yards. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MY DIAMOND BOY (8) is fitter for two runs back from a break. Turned in a better effort last time when fourth over 6¼f at Gunnedah. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be thereabouts.
