REMBROY (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at this track. Looks the one to beat. THOR'S LIGHTNING (7) is a six-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Wellington. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. SUPER SIOUX (11) has not raced since her debut on July 14 over 4½f at Scone when she finished eighth, beaten 7 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement. AUSSIE REBEL (1) resumes from a lay-off of eight months and is having his first outing under new trainer Troy O'neile. Finished fifth at Moe over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Placed in a recent trial.
